University of Allahabad Releases 5th Merit List for B.Com. Admissions 2025-26; Fee Payment Window Open till August 17
Prayagraj, August 14, 2025 — The University of Allahabad has officially announced the 5th merit list and seat allotment details for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) programme for the academic session 2025-26. The admission process is based on the Combined Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG-2025) scores and will be conducted only for registered candidates through online counselling.
Merit Calculation Criteria
For preparing the merit list, the CUET-UG-2025 scores have been considered from the following components:
- One Language Subject: Hindi or English
- One Domain Subject: Accountancy/Book Keeping, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology, Environmental Studies/Environmental Science
- General Aptitude Test
Candidates who did not appear for any of the above-mentioned tests have been awarded zero (0) marks for that section. The computed scores form the basis for seat allotment during online counselling.
Fee Payment Guidelines
Candidates allotted a seat must submit the admission fee within the specified window to secure their admission. The fee payment window for the 5th merit list is open from August 14, 2025 (8:00 PM) to August 17, 2025 (8:00 PM). Admission will be granted strictly on the basis of the computed marks and availability of seats in the programme.

- Candidates should check their seat allocation status through the student portal on the Samarth platform of the University of Allahabad at https://alldunivcuet.samarth.edu.in/index.php.
- Seats will be allotted strictly as per merit and the domain subject requirements of the programme.
- Failure to deposit the admission fee within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
