UPSSSC PET 2025: Railways and UPSRTC Announce Special Trains and Buses for Candidates
Over 25 Lakh Candidates to Appear for PET 2025 on September 6 & 7
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 on 6 and 7 September in two shifts each day. With more than 25 lakh candidates registered, the state administration, police, railways, and UPSRTC have made extensive arrangements to ensure smooth travel and exam conduct.
To facilitate hassle-free movement of candidates, Northern Railway and North Eastern Railway have announced special trains, while Uttar Pradesh Roadways (UPSRTC) has deployed hundreds of extra buses across districts.
Special Trains for UPSSSC PET 2025 Candidates
Railways have released a list of special trains connecting major districts of Uttar Pradesh. These trains are aimed at ensuring candidates reach their allotted exam centres on time without travel disruption.

Special Bus Arrangements Across Districts
UPSRTC has announced large-scale deployment of special buses across multiple districts to handle the rush of PET candidates. Help desks have been set up at all major depots for candidate assistance.
Allahabad (Prayagraj) Region
- 1,26,089 candidates will travel from Prayagraj to other districts for exams.
- 96,480 candidates will arrive in Prayagraj from other districts.
- Special buses will operate from Leader Road for 10,198 women candidates travelling to Fatehpur, and separate arrangements are made for candidates travelling to Jhansi (39,835) and Jalaun (11,059).
- Additional buses are deployed for candidates travelling between Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Ghazipur, and Jaunpur.
Bareilly Region (September 4–7 Special Services)
- Bareilly–Amroha: 9,981 candidates, 35 buses.
- Bareilly–Bijnor: 14,039 candidates, 60 buses.
- Bareilly–Badaun: 12,961 candidates, 39 buses.
- Badaun–Noida (GB Nagar): 16,352 candidates, 60 buses.
- Pilibhit–Meerut: 11,735 candidates, 45 buses.
- Ambedkar Nagar–Bareilly: 5,543 candidates, 25 buses.
- Ayodhya–Bareilly: 25,358 candidates, 83 buses.
- Basti–Bareilly: 7,137 candidates, 30 buses.
- Badaun–Bareilly: 6,883 candidates, 25 buses.
- Pilibhit–Bareilly: 5,235 candidates, 17 buses.
- Shahjahanpur–Bareilly: 7,246 candidates, 32 buses.
- Sultanpur–Bareilly: 24,997 candidates, 80 buses.
Ayodhya Region
- All 147 buses of Ayodhya depot will be on road from Friday morning.
- Services will connect Ayodhya to Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Azamgarh, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Bahraich, and Balrampur.
- Long-route buses to Delhi, Agra, and other distant cities will remain suspended until Monday.
- Candidates will get 14-hour continuous bus service daily.
Azamgarh Region
- Over 48,000 candidates will appear for PET in Azamgarh.
- UPSRTC has deployed 551 buses for the region.
- With candidates and their guardians, the district is expected to host over 1 lakh visitors during the exam days.
- A dedicated movement plan has been prepared by UPSRTC RM Azamgarh to manage additional travel load from September 4 to 7.
