About the University

Gautam Buddha University (GBU) is a State University, established under the Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha University Act, 2002 (U.P. Act No. 9 of 2002). It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956 and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The School of Law, Justice & Governance, established in 2011, envisions advancing learning, teaching, and research in the areas of law, justice, and governance. The School emphasizes a balanced approach between theoretical knowledge and practical learning, with a strong focus on clinical legal education.

About the Competition

The 4th P.N. Mathur Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2025 will be organised by the School of Law, Justice & Governance, Gautam Buddha University, on 8th and 9th November 2025 at the Greater Noida campus.

This prestigious national-level moot court competition provides a platform for law students across India to showcase their advocacy, research, and analytical skills. It aims to foster professional excellence, instil confidence, and sharpen legal acumen in a competitive environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all students pursuing 5-year Integrated LL.B. or 3-year LL.B. programmes from recognised law schools, universities, and institutions in India.
• Each institution can send only one team to participate.

Registration Details

• Registration Fee: INR 3,500 per team
• Accommodation (Optional): INR 1,000 per team per day
• Observer Fee: INR 500 per observer + INR 1,000 per room per day
