Law graduates who have enrolled with any State Bar Council are eligible to appear for AIBE XX (20) 2025. Only those who qualify the exam will be awarded the Certificate of Practice (CoP) by the BCI, which is mandatory for practicing law in Indian courts.
AIBE 20 Exam Date 2025
According to reports, the AIBE 20 Exam 2025 is expected to be conducted on December 21, 2025. The official confirmation regarding the exam date will be published in the AIBE 20 Notification PDF.
AIBE 20 Registration 2025
The AIBE 20 Registration 2025 process will begin soon after the notification is released. Candidates must keep the following documents ready for smooth application:

AIBE 20 Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Must hold an LLB degree (3-year or 5-year course).
- Must be enrolled with any State Bar Council.
- No upper age limit for appearing in AIBE 20.
AIBE 20 Exam Pattern 2025
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE XX) will test the fundamental legal knowledge of candidates.
- Mode of Exam: Offline (pen-and-paper OMR based)
- Duration: 3 hours
- Subjects: 19 core law subjects
- Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer, no negative marking
- Languages: English, Hindi, and 21 regional languages including Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Punjabi, Assamese, Gujarati, and others.

- General/OBC: 45%
- SC/ST: 40%
