Why NTA Issued This Special Facility
During the submission of the online application form for UGC-NET June 2026, candidates are required to capture and upload a live photograph through the registration portal.
However, NTA observed that Visually Impaired (VI) candidates may face practical difficulties while completing the live photograph capture process during registration. Therefore, as a special facilitation measure, the agency has introduced an alternative process exclusively for visually impaired candidates.
Special Facility Announced for Visually Impaired Candidates
Under this special facility, visually impaired candidates can send their live photograph directly through email to NTA instead of uploading it through the registration portal.
