Why NTA Issued This Special Facility
During the submission of the online application form for UGC-NET June 2026, candidates are required to capture and upload a live photograph through the registration portal.
However, NTA observed that Visually Impaired (VI) candidates may face practical difficulties while completing the live photograph capture process during registration. Therefore, as a special facilitation measure, the agency has introduced an alternative process exclusively for visually impaired candidates.
