Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Registration Begins: Apply Online Till June 19
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the online application process for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination. Eligible candidates can now apply through the official portal for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor eligibility, and PhD admission.
According to the official public notice issued on 27 May 2026, the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 17 and 18 July 2026 across the country.

CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Exam Schedule ⏰
The examination will be conducted in two shifts:

The duration of the examination will be 180 minutes (3 hours).

The examination will be conducted for the following five subjects:
- Chemical Sciences
- Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Physical Sciences
The paper will be available in both English and Hindi medium.
Purpose of CSIR UGC NET Examination 🎓
The Joint CSIR UGC NET examination is conducted to determine eligibility for:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
- Appointment as Assistant Professor
- Admission to PhD Programmes
- Assistant Professor with PhD Admission Eligibility
The examination is conducted jointly by NTA and CSIR for science stream aspirants.

Candidates will also get an opportunity to edit their submitted application forms.
The correction facility will remain available from:
- 22 June 2026
- 23 June 2026
