The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the CUET UG 2026 Day 1 Shift 1 examination on 11 May 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Following the conclusion of the examination, memory-based questions and detailed subject-wise topic analysis have started emerging based on student reactions.

The overall paper level remained moderate, while Chemistry was considered comparatively difficult. Most Humanities and Commerce papers were reported to be NCERT-oriented and concept-based.
