CUET UG 2026 Admit Card Released; NTA Issues Important Instructions for Candidates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for candidates appearing in the Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) – 2026. Candidates scheduled to appear in the examination from 11 May to 31 May 2026 can now download their admit cards from the official CUET website using their login credentials.
NTA has advised all candidates to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the admit card before appearing in the examination.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule Already Released
NTA informed that the Exam City Intimation Slip and examination schedule had already been shared with eligible candidates on 29 April 2026.
According to the official notice, each examination shift will have a duration of 3 hours. Candidates may be allotted a minimum of 1 subject and a maximum of 3 subjects in a single shift.
Important Clarification by NTA
- If a candidate is allotted 3 subjects in one shift, they will remain in the examination hall for the full 3 hours.
- If only 2 subjects are allotted, candidates may leave the examination hall after completing their examination in 2 hours.
Important Instructions Regarding Photo ID
NTA has directed candidates to carry the same photo ID proof that was uploaded during the online application process and also mentioned on the admit card.
Candidates Facing Photograph Mismatch Must Carry Certificate
The agency has clarified that candidates whose photographs do not match with the photograph available in Aadhaar or those who registered using any other identity proof must carry a duly signed certificate issued by:
- Principal/Head Master
- Class-I Gazetted Officer
- Tehsildar
- Revenue Officer
- SDM
- DM
- Indian Embassy Official (for NRI candidates)
This certificate will be required for physical verification at the examination centre on the day of examination.
