Verma National Blog Writing Competition 2026. The competition aims to promote critical legal thinking on emerging challenges at the intersection of technology, law, and society.
This national-level initiative is designed to encourage students across disciplines to engage with contemporary legal issues such as artificial intelligence regulation, data privacy, cybercrime, and digital rights.
The competition commemorates Justice J S Verma, renowned for his contributions to constitutional law, human rights, and landmark reforms including the Vishaka Guidelines.

🏫 About UPSIFS & School of Law
The institute, established in August 2023, operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and is affiliated with the National Forensic Sciences University.
UPSIFS follows a unique “law-with-labs” approach, integrating legal education with forensic science to build investigative and evidentiary expertise among students.
The School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies (est. 2024–25) focuses on advocacy, legal research, and interdisciplinary learning, making it a hub for modern legal education.
