📢 Banaras Hindu University में फीस बढ़ोतरी पर विवाद
वाराणसी: काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय (BHU) जो affordable और quality education के लिए जाना जाता है, इस समय fee hike issue को लेकर चर्चा में है। University administration द्वारा courses और hostel fees में की गई भारी बढ़ोतरी के खिलाफ Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) ने protest शुरू कर दिया है।
शनिवार को ABVP representatives ने Registrar Prof. Arun Kumar Singh से मुलाकात कर memorandum submit किया और demand की कि यह decision तुरंत वापस लिया जाए। Students ने साफ कहा कि अगर fee rollback नहीं हुआ, तो campus में बड़ा student movement देखने को मिलेगा।
💰 Course-wise Fee Hike Details
ABVP के अनुसार university ने लगभग हर course में fees बढ़ाकर students पर financial burden डाल दिया है:
- Agriculture Institute: करीब ₹12,000 की increase
- PhD: ₹1,940 से बढ़ाकर ₹12,000 (लगभग 6x hike)
- LLB: ₹1,975 से बढ़ाकर ₹6,000 per semester
- BA-LLB: ₹60,000 से ₹72,000 annually
- Hostel Fees: लगभग 50% तक increase
- Swimming Fees: ₹1,150 से ₹1,650
Students का कहना है कि यह increase middle class और rural background के candidates के लिए serious challenge बन सकता है।
🎓 “BHU गरीब छात्रों का सहारा है”
ABVP unit president Pallav Suman ने कहा कि BHU हमेशा से economically weaker students के लिए higher education का सबसे बड़ा platform रहा है।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya का vision था कि education सबके लिए accessible हो, लेकिन इस तरह की sudden fee hike उस vision के खिलाफ है और हजारों students का future affect कर सकती है।
⚠ Students ने बताया Anti-Student Decision
ज्ञापन सौंपते समय कई student leaders जैसे Vikas Mahto, Madan Gopal, Akanksha Singh और Megha Mukhopadhyay मौजूद रहे।
Students ने administration के इस decision को “anti-student” और “authoritarian” बताया और appeal की कि financial condition को देखते हुए decision पर reconsider किया जाए।
🔥 Protest की चेतावनी
ABVP ने साफ warning दी है कि अगर जल्द fee hike वापस नहीं लिया गया, तो BHU campus में large-scale protest शुरू किया जाएगा।
