About the Position
NPS Trust invites applications for the post of Senior Consultant (Legal – AIF) to provide legal and regulatory support in relation to Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) investments.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling legal and regulatory matters in:
- Investment Banking
- Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs)
- Private Equity / Private Debt
- BFSI / Insurance / Pension Fund sector
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant (Legal – AIF) will:
- Conduct legal due diligence of AIFs and related investment activities
- Vet and review SOPs, MoUs, side letters, and Contribution Agreements
- Ensure regulatory compliance under Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) AIF Regulations, PFRDA norms, and other applicable laws
- Handle legal queries, disputes, and compliance reporting
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Trust
Salary & Remuneration
- Fixed Consolidated Monthly Salary: ₹2,25,000/-
- Subject to applicable TDS
- Provision for annual increment after successful completion of every 12 months during the contractual period, based on performance review
