🎓 Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university
  • Degree must qualify the candidate for enrollment as an advocate

 Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age (General - Male): 37 Years
  • Maximum Age (BC/EBC - Male): 40 Years
  • Maximum Age (General/BC/EBC - Female): 40 Years
  • Maximum Age (SC/ST - Male & Female): 42 Years

Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Government norms.

📝 Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:

1️⃣ Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

  • Paper 1: General Studies – 100 Marks
  • Paper 2: Law – 150 Marks
  • Total: 250 Marks

2️⃣ Main Examination (Descriptive)

Papers include:

  1. General Studies – 100 Marks
  2. Hindi – 100 Marks
  3. English – 100 Marks
  4. Indian Penal Code, 2023 – 150 Marks
  5. Indian Evidence Act, 2023 – 150 Marks
  6. Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 – 75 Marks
    Civil Procedure Code, 1908 – 75 Marks
  7. Constitutional Law – 150 Marks
  8. Other Laws – 150 Marks

Each paper will be of 3 hours duration.

3️⃣ Interview

Final merit will be prepared based on performance in the Main Examination and Interview.
