CMP Degree College Announces 1st National Socio-Legal Essay Writing Competition 2025 with Cash Prizes up to ₹7,000
Prayagraj, September 9, 2025 – Chaudhary Mahadev Prasad Degree College (CMP College), a constituent P.G. College of the University of Allahabad, has launched the 1st CMP National Socio-Legal Essay Writing Competition 2025.
The competition, organized by the Department of Law (B.A. LL.B. Hons. Programme), will be held on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, focusing on the theme:
“Justice in the Golden Years: Examining Legal, Ethical & Policy Dimensions for India’s Senior Citizens.”
Cash Prizes Worth ₹14,000 to be Awarded
CMP Degree College has announced attractive cash prizes for the winners of the competition:
- 🥇 First Prize: ₹7,000
- 🥈 Second Prize: ₹5,000
- 🥉 Third Prize: ₹2,000
Along with cash prizes:
- All participants will receive E-certificates.
- Top 5 essays will get Certificates of Merit.
- Selected essays will be published in a book with ISBN, giving students a chance to add academic recognition to their profile.
Eligibility & Word Limit
- Who can participate? – Students of Five-Year Integrated Law Programmes, LL.B., LL.M., and students from other universities/colleges interested in elderly rights.
- Word Limit: Essays should be between 2,500 to 3,000 words.
- Mode of Submission: Online, via email.
