About the Organisers
JuristQuest stands as India’s premier moot court competition, offering aspiring lawyers an exceptional platform to refine their advocacy, legal research, and courtroom skills. Conceived by Crosby Law Associates in association with the Secretary of Madras High Court Advocates Association, the initiative bridges academic learning with practical legal experience. Through high-level competitions, workshops, and global legal interactions, JuristQuest nurtures talent and offers international exposure to law students.
The JuristQuest 2025 edition holds special significance as it commemorates 75 years of the Constitution of India, promising a larger, more inclusive, and impactful event.
JuristQuest 2025 – India’s First Moot Court Marathon
For the first time in India’s legal education history, JuristQuest introduces the Moot Court Marathon, running from September 15, 2025, to November 29, 2025.
A distinctive feature of this year’s event is the permission for participants to argue in their native languages – Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu – until the quarterfinal stage. This inclusivity aims to encourage participation from law students across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
The semifinals and finals will be conducted in English, ensuring participants gain global advocacy readiness.
Event Schedule
- Prelims & Quarterfinals (Virtual): September 15 – 30, 2025
- Semifinals (Onsite): October 25 – 30, 2025 at Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad & Cochin
- Final Round (Onsite): November 29, 2025 at Chennai
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all 3-year and 5-year LL.B students from institutions in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
- Multiple teams from the same institution allowed.
- Each team: 2 speakers + 1 researcher (researcher cannot argue).
- No institutional identity disclosure allowed during the competition.
