The National Testing Agency has started the online registration process for UGC NET June 2026, introducing an upgraded application flow integrated with the DigiLocker ecosystem for identity verification. Candidates applying for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test can now complete registration through the official application portal using mobile OTP verification and DigiLocker authentication.

The new registration system has been designed to streamline identity verification, reduce fake applications and simplify document authentication for candidates across India. The examination is conducted for eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.

  • Minimum 8 characters
