The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the correction window for the UGC-NET June 2026 Examination application form. Candidates who have already submitted their online applications can now make corrections in permitted fields through the official portal.
According to the official notice, the correction facility will remain available from 26 May 2026 to 28 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). Candidates are advised to verify all details carefully because no further opportunity for correction will be provided after the deadline.

Fields That Cannot Be Changed in UGC NET 2026 Form
NTA has clarified that candidates will NOT be allowed to edit the following fields:
- Mobile Number
- E-Mail Address
- Permanent Address
- Present Address
- Uploaded Photograph
- Uploaded Signature
Once submitted, these details will remain frozen and cannot be modified later.
Fields Allowed for Correction
Candidates can make corrections in the following details:
Personal Details
- Candidate Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
However, only one among these fields can be changed.
Examination Related Details
- Examination City Selection
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- PwBD/Sub-category
- Subject/Paper
The option to edit the subject will remain available during the entire correction period.
Important Instructions Issued by NTA
The NTA has released several important guidelines for candidates:
- Only one-time correction facility will be provided
- Once corrections are submitted, the form will be frozen
- Additional fee may be applicable depending on modifications
- Extra fee can be paid only through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
- No correction request will be accepted after 28 May 2026
