Admission Cut-Offs for Postgraduate Courses Declared
Ishwar Sharan Degree College, Prayagraj, has released the merit cut-off list for postgraduate (PG) courses for admission scheduled on August 19, 2025. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility as per the subject-wise cut-off list before proceeding with the admission process.

The subject-wise cut-off marks are as follows:
Economics: For UR and EWS categories – 15 marks & above. For OBC, SC, and ST – all appeared candidates are eligible.
Ancient History: Only SC candidates are eligible (all appeared). No cut-off for other categories.
Medieval & Modern History: No cut-off announced for any category.
Hindi: For UR – 90 marks & above. For SC and ST – all appeared candidates are eligible.
Political Science: For SC category – 90 marks & above. No cut-off for other categories.
Sociology: For UR – 64 marks & above, for OBC – 27 marks & above, for EWS – 32 marks & above. SC and ST – all appeared candidates are eligible.
English Literature: For UR – 12 marks & above, for OBC – 6 marks & above. SC and ST – all appeared candidates are eligible.
Commerce: For UR – 95 marks & above. For SC and ST – all appeared candidates are eligible.
PG Admission Portal
- Admissions will remain open on August 19, 2025 only during the specified time slot.
- Students must log in with their PGAT Roll Number and Date of Birth via the official portal.

Important Instructions for Students
- Admission is provisional and subject to document verification.
- Upload self-attested scanned copies of all required documents in PDF format (max. size 2 MB each).
- Complete the online admission form carefully and proceed with the fee payment.
- The admission fee can be paid only through online payment modes and is non-refundable.
- After successful submission and fee payment, download/print the admission form and fee receipt.
- In case of technical errors during the process, students should restart from step 2.
