Re-Allocation Window Opened for Remaining Candidates
NTA clarified that around:
3.4% Candidates
could not initially receive their preferred cities because of:
- Capacity constraints
- High-demand examination locations
- Limited CBT infrastructure
To address the issue, the agency opened a:
Re-Allocation Window
on a:
First-Come-First-Serve Basis
for affected candidates.
The revised admit cards showing final examination city allocation have now been issued.
Why Some Candidates Were Shifted to Other Cities
According to NTA, several cities witnessed extremely high demand due to the large number of applicants from states such as:
- Uttar Pradesh
- Bihar
- Delhi
The pressure on CBT infrastructure and limited examination centre availability in high-demand cities resulted in re-allocation for a small percentage of candidates.
